From request to follow-up
How agent coverage works
You set the assignment. Another agent handles the on-site task. A clear handoff keeps both agents—and your client—on the same page.
- 1
Create your account
Review and acknowledge the agent safety protocol. If you sign up with email, confirm your email address. Add your profile and brokerage details; agents need independent license verification before accepting work.
- 2
Post a clear request
Select a service, property, date, time, and fee of at least $25. Include an end time for open houses, task instructions, and authorized access details. For buyer showings, prepare a client introduction and clarify the covering agent’s role.
- 3
An eligible agent accepts
A verified agent reviews the request and signs the non-solicitation disclosure before accepting. Coverage depends on local availability. Wait for confirmed acceptance before treating the appointment as covered.
- 4
Coordinate the handoff
Use the private job conversation to confirm the plan. Assigned participants can access the client handoff details. Discuss property permissions, buyer questions, how feedback will be returned, and what to do if either agent cannot attend.
- 5
Check in, show, and check out
The covering agent checks in at the start and checks out when finished. Location-supported attendance can be recorded where available; self-reported attendance is identified separately. Check-ins are records, not emergency monitoring.
- 6
Return feedback and finish the job
The covering agent submits appointment feedback; the completion workflow requires check-in and check-out. Both agents can leave reviews. Arrange payment directly under your agreed terms—online charging, bank payouts, and tip transfers are not enabled.
